Hey y'all, when is the last time you actually bought a cd? Smile, a spontaneous evening and I've come home with three. Beth Hart live at Paradiso, the soundtracks to De Lovely and Walk the line. Hehehehe, what fun! The Beth Hart is brilliant! Powerful, insane, rockin', intense, and so flippin' funny! Smile, I love it! Looking forward to listening to the other two. I think De Lovely next. So, how about y'all; bought any old fashion silver platters? Groove on!
I still buy cds sometimes but I don't know when the last time i actually bought a cd in a store was. It's easier and cheaper to just buy them online now... The last couple CDs I bought were the best of alice cooper, some flamanko guitar stuff, the new steve vai album, and the soundtrack to the film the pianist.
i buy a lot of music from iTunes (i just wish it would be accessible)...I bought The Streets new cd from there on tuesday. I can't remember the last time I actually went to a store and bought a cd...
I know! It's been years since I've sifted a cd bin, or asked someone to look for something for me. Sheesh, made me think of second hand cd stores. Gall, I use to love those places!
I purchase my CD's from the store as long as that CD has all the songs I like in that CD or box set. The exceptions though are when I really like a band; then I'll buy all the CD's of that specific band. Otherwise, I look for the "Best Of" and "Greatest Hits", and sometimes I can find all the songs I like on another album name. I think the last CD's I bought, (which was a few months ago), were a 2-disk set from Chicago, and another 2-disk set from Heart, I don't remember the titles off the top of my head. For CD's where they don't have all the songs I like on one, or if there are too few songs I like for that band, I would just ask my brother-in-law to find those songs and put it on a CD with other songs I'd want.
I bout one about 2 months ago it was chris brown lol. and since then I have burned about 5 that have came out
i'm always orsdering off amazon. never use the shops, sometimes they don't work and that's anoying
and sometimes, the cds are in the wrong case
Hmmm, about five weeks ago I baught the Chris-Brown-Album. So ... not that long ago.
I stilllike to buy cd's from the stores, I ahve this thingabout downloading music. don't get me wrong, I love it, and I do it myself a lot, I download just as much music as the rest of ya'll but when it comes to a full album, I like to actually buy them. the last cd I got was this big box set of old soul songs that my mom found while looking in the clearance section...why that would be there is beyond me, but I ain't gonna complain. and before that I think it was deitrick Haddon's album "crossroads," which I ordered off amazon. amazon is my friend. lol and half.com.
Yeah, same here, Complicated-Melody.
okay, resurrecting this board topic because I'm bored. Last time I bought a CD from the store was a month ago. It was the sound track to the fifth Harry Potter movie.
The last cds i've bought, was this week end just gone. they were
The essencial Toto, and Toto's more recent studio album, Falling In Between.
Mind you, i have to keep note of my wallet,to try and avoid getting verry low on the cash.
lol I dont really buy them in the stores anymore. my family did for my birthday though cause they dont use downloads. Those were rodney carrington, jordin sparks, colbie cailatt, and brad paisley. last week I downloaded sara bareilles from walmart. fantastic album!
The last cds I got were given to me as Xmas presents. Besides that, I can't remember when I actually bought one.
The last cd I bought was on september11, the new iced earth album framing armageddon, other than that I just download it all, the riaa have taken enough from me over the years.
